John Haynicz, of Monroeville, was driving a pickup that collided with an SUV at 2:27 p.m. Friday, Aug. 25 at Delsea Drive and Paul Street in Franklinville, according to Franklin Township police.
Haynicz was conscious when police took him to Inspira Medical Center Mullica Hill, but they learned on Saturday that he was airlifted to Cooper University Hospital in Camden where he died of his injuries, police said.
A 34-year-old Sewell man driving the SUV suffered head injuries and was taken to Jefferson Washington Township Hospital.
A 90-year-old Monroeville woman in the pickup had moderate injuries to her foot and was taken to Inspira, police said.
The cause remains under investigation.
